Don't? worrie, when the ships start to launch and the resources start to get to Earth, you will see the amount of people will increase ten-fold.
By: lostintheapplasauce. on 16 May 12, 04:17:00
would you say that the interstate highway is intrastate where it runs thru ur own state? nein!!!?
By: lostintheapplasauce. on 16 May 12, 04:13:30
nope. it doesnt. u ignored the fact that they plan on using the resources in space AND on terra firma. thats the plan that i keep reading about. hence the strategy to find water. ? even if they only sent the material down to earth it would still be "extraplanetary resources". so, think first then respond.
By: spacevidcast. on 15 May 12, 17:47:04
Well, while they will be mining asteroids off planet, I believe they are? planning on brining those resources down to us... to use. So, Planetary Resources. Does that help?
By: lostintheapplasauce. on 14 May 12, 16:08:26
but why? isnt it called Extraplanetary Resources?

Take a look at military finances.? That's is, straight up. Take a look at the global military funds before you criticize science.

I can't believe this video? has only about 18k views..

What do they mean, "We're not going to talk about it; we're just going to do it?" Are they likely to withhold important? information during the development?
By: Pandoranage4101. on 12 May 12, 02:33:45
This is a historic and? important step they are taking. My hat? is off to these guys and gals! Dante D'Anthony, Author "The Pandoran Age Chronicles"

This one is more for the people saying, "We have so many problems here already; why spend? money on space," but thanks. I tend to use a different one for most people.

Tell your friends to? tell theirs friends, and so on....

When submitting, you have to write a "story", in a way that MSM-media and "ordinary Joe" is getting interested. Like "how to be a zillionare".... :-) I'm working to submitting? to our MSM-media here in Sweden.
By: gagarinone. on 09 May 12, 01:52:35
That's a very good argument for space exploration, when talking with "ordinary Joe".?
By: BenTibone. on 05 May 12, 12:52:36
do it, do it, do it!! I have seen the light of the earth 1978, that means the day i was born humans have already been on mars with their machinery. It is so exciting to conquer space, it? is something you can focus on, not only for us but also for future generations. It is something completely different than this boring crap of socialism sweeping all over europe right now. I only hope europeans will follow this example. At least germans have invented rocketry - very important for spacetravel ;)

Space exploration will inspire kids to become scientists and egineers. When those kids become scientists and egnineers, as adults some of them will be the people solving the problem here on Earth. So what we really need is more space exploration because that will make kids what to become problem solvers(scientists and egnineers). With more problem solvers to help fix? the problems on Earth the problems with be fixed sooner.

no one in a position of power cares? about what happens after they're gone as long as they can make a buck today.
By: tony rusi. on 04 May 12, 10:27:12
America bleeds half a trillion dollars a year for overseas oil. Over three decades, that is equal to our entire US national debt. If I could wave a magic wand tomorrow, and give everyone an electric car, and end Fossil Fuel burning worldwide, by beaming solar energy down from space, I would! By using Space Solar Power as electricity in our electric? cars, we could nearly completely end world air pollution, and save 2 million lives per year worldwide, simply by ending world air pollution.
By: GDuff123. on 04 May 12, 07:56:46
Don't forget our? own orbit, passenger travel, space stations, and fuel depots sound amazing.
By: GDuff123. on 04 May 12, 07:55:11
Actually, in about 10 large shipments of refined water, platinum, or other valuable materials, they could drastically offset recessions around the world. A good decade of work could offset? any global depression. This program is literally going to bring propserity to all/most of mankind, and enable you to access space(for vacations, work, and soon after permanent colonization) at low prices you likely never thought imaginable.
By: GDuff123. on 04 May 12, 07:49:34
You do realize that there is enough water in space to solve malnutrition problems around the world? Enough resources to totally offset the depression, and make materials outrageously cheap? Enough land to give? every one of those African kids a million nations? Or a trillion homes, practicing in situ resource utilization? "And i still cant afford an iphone!!" Boohoo. Asteroid mining could make iphones worth pennies after a few years of expansive work.
By: oriondynasty. on 04 May 12, 01:27:03
And i still cant afford an iphone!! And African kids still go to bed HUNGRY!!! my god!!, all im trying to say? is fix our early problems before making galictic problem
