"Mounting evidence from psychology...suggests that one's politics are driven partly by one's personality, and Democrats and liberals are simply more open to new information and experiences as well as more tolerant of? ambiguity and uncertainty. Moreover, this difference has been exacerbated by? a well-documented turn toward psychological authoritarianism in the Republican Party over the past four decades."?Chris Mooney

Ron Paul wants ZERO regulation! That's quite possibly the most unintelligent idea EVER! Without thoughtful, yet not overly absurd and intrusive regulation, literally ONE family would control the entire world by now. Thankfully, insightful people realized this at the onset of Capitalism and laid out governing rules (breaking up monopolies, etc), however, the greed? of this new generation of robber barons has since convinced the masses of uneducated zealots that we need more freedom! Try to think!

Which corporation paid for this video? Wake up America corporations own both puppet political parties! We need to end lobbying and work toward a more direct democracy and if? we have delegates they should be held way more accountable for each local group. America is losing freedom and well-being because the 1% wealthiest are our true masters.
By: TheLifeOfaPsycho. on 19 May 12, 05:04:38
Of course Republicans want lower taxes for the rich! But we want it for the middle class and poor too! Jeez. We want Life, Liberty and Property rights protected! Those don't? JUST protect the rich, but it protects the poor too! Judge people by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin, or the content of their wallet.

dude, im not a republican, but a free thinker. i think, for now, we need to vote for republican so that we can lower the debt of our nation, i think democrat parties do too much money spending and they cause inflation as well. i think our military is important because we have to? make sure we are strong enough to win the potential enemies, like china for example. and we didnt force black people to go to the war, they chose to be the soldiers, and i really appreciate that. repubs arnt racist

By: tdelBIKES. on 18 May 12, 21:52:14
sorry,? that was a two part comment and the first part never posted. Not worth it to repost. This was actually the stupidist exchange I have ever had.
By: garrethdavis. on 18 May 12, 21:05:18
You never heard of Ron? Paul then.
By: khmacdonald713. on 18 May 12, 12:54:39
People like who? What are you talking about? Who are you talking to? Rereading this thread, I can see why I'm so frustrated. You keep randomly changing the subject, speaking non-sequiters, or throwing out conspiracy theories. You can have the last word. I'm done with you. However, try? to be at least somewhat coherent with your last word.
By: tdelBIKES. on 18 May 12, 02:56:48
people like him are a big part of the reason by "bipartisan" is no longer in our vocabulary. There is no need for him to be so angry and condescending. An outsider viewing this would likely think that Democrats and Rebublicans were racial groups involved in some type of ethnic war. Don't be like that. Nobody likes that kind of? guy.
By: Thrillcekr. on 18 May 12, 02:45:40
And just how well are those areas of the south that are dominated by Republicans doing? He claims the Republicans are the ones who are really trying to help African Americans. The states of the deep south, which have the highest concentrations of black people in America, and are also governed by Republicans, are the very poorest in the nation. Great job helping those black folks? move on up buddy!!! LOL!!!
By: Thrillcekr. on 18 May 12, 02:42:48
There's a few problems with what he says. Number one, they only believe in low taxes for those that have the most. My taxes were never "lowered" under Reagan, Bush Sr, or Bush Jr. When my taxes are 15% just like Mitt Romney's I'll buy what this guy is trying to sell. Secondly, the Republican party under Lincoln is not the same as that of today. Take a look at where those Democrats came from that he mentions. All from the south. What party? dominates that region today? Republicans!
By: khmacdonald713. on 18 May 12, 02:26:24
Is that what you think you said? Ha! You really? are confused. Your first comment said it's not greedy for democrats to take OTHER PEOPLE's money, but republicans are greedy to want to keep their own money. It is never greedy to want to KEEP YOUR OWN money. Greed is about wanting more, not keeping what you have.
By: tdelBIKES. on 18 May 12, 02:16:48
alright man, then we agree. I didn't want this to be an ideological argument. I accept that there are multiple economic theories and that yours is a valid one. My point is that this video is about why to choose a republican candidates, and it bases its support on the fact that republican POLITICIANS are not greedy. As you and I both have said at one point, this? logic supporting this "is stupid."
By: khmacdonald713. on 18 May 12, 02:10:16
It's clear that you're confused; you think that not taxing someone at super high rates is "help". I know that you don't apply the greed label? to politicians. I'm telling you that's stupid. It's clear that they are greedy. Govs in the US are going broke, yet gov employees retire ridiculously young (some after only 20 years of work and all after only 30), while private sector workers get to work all their lives to pay for it (working for 40+ years).
By: tdelBIKES. on 18 May 12, 01:51:04
but I thought the people "not stealing" were the republicans? I'm lost... and this is deviating too much from the original point. Also, I feel like we're both trolling. And if you aren't, then joke's on you. I think that the main issue I had was that tax money and the salaries paid to politicians are totally? separate. So a republican in office can still be greedy, even if he/ she advocates low taxes. Also, the greed label generally refers to the tax-avoiding citizens rather than the politicians
By: Dominic Santore. on 17 May 12, 21:14:08
the repubs freed the slaves i beleive it!! thoses? were the days when repubs were cool.
By: augustmoon0004. on 17 May 12, 20:25:15
Bullshit... The Republicans = ? Corporate welfare, which enables the 1% to get richer by the day as they send our middle class jobs overseas to capitalize on slave labor while simultaneously making China a super power. They just pull the wool over the eyes/brains of the religious/stupid in this country by keeping abortion and gays in the headlines. They will collapse this country one day!!
By: khmacdonald713. on 17 May 12, 01:50:17
No. ? What you are saying is that by not stealing from you, I help you as much as I would have helped my neighbor if I had stolen from you and given it to him. Not stealing from somebody is not "helping" them. It's called being a decent person. By your logic, I could say that I helped everyone I met today since I refrained from stealing from them and all sorts of other nasty things I could have done to them.
By: tdelBIKES. on 17 May 12, 00:55:44
So you are saying that democrats use tax money greedily in that it goes towards helping them get votes through the programs they spend it on? In that way, couldn't you say that the republicans are likewise greedy in that they promise their constituents lower taxes to get their votes at the expense of people who would be getting benefits from programs funded by taxes? ?
By: Dominic Santore. on 17 May 12, 00:00:52
Bush is in the Repbulican party i? win
By: khmacdonald713. on 16 May 12, 23:48:18
Are you serious with this? The gov killed Lennon? The dems want peace? The dems don't want to control people's lives (any idea which party enacted social security, medicare, launched? the US into WWI and WWII, Obamacare and which party ended slavery, Jim Crowe?) Ha! You are living in a dream world.
By: Dominic Santore. on 16 May 12, 23:30:40
the repubs dont want you to be controlled by other people they want people to follow the government and say the gov. is always right. people with power to controll mindsare people they hate, even though these people dont want to controll them, thats the gov. killed Lennon? even though Lennon didnt want to controll people just get PEACE and PEACE=Democrat!
By: Dominic Santore. on 16 May 12, 23:25:35
and Mitt Romney is a big mistake name one poor people he knows, cant think of any because he doesnt care about Americas and that we? are in a crisis he cares about himself and rich people!!!! same with all repubs!!!!
By: Dominic Santore. on 16 May 12, 23:22:42
contue:so how do you like repubs now and heres another:Democarts want PEACE and repubs want America to be great and wipe out other countrys America is brutally because when every time something bad happens in the world its because of America and well we stole this land from the Indians because of England and to point something out, in my opion the only thing good from England was The? Beatles. anyways they killed a bunch of people for no reason why because they were repubicans!!
